Coffee County (Tennessee) District Attorney Craig Northcott refuses to pursue domestic violence cases involving same-sex couples, simply because he disagrees with the Supreme Court decision in Obergefell v Hodges. He also believes Muslims have no rights under the Constitution because they don't worship the right god.

Knox County (Tennessee) Sheriff's Detective Grayson Fritts, also a pastor at fundamentalist All Scripture Baptist Church, believes that our civil government should enforce Old Testament law, "speedily" executing gay people simply for being gay.

The Alabama state legislature is considering a bill that would allow public schools to offer elective courses on the Bible. The courses would ostensibly educate students on the Bible's influence on literature and history, but it's really just a Trojan Horse to allow Christian teachers to proselytize to a captive audience.

Finally, I recommend the new book The Four Horsemen, which transcribes the legendary 2007 conversation of Christopher Hitchens, Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett and Sam Harris.

[Apologies for this episode's sound quality. I accidentally recorded using my laptop's built-in microphone. Also, podcast mascot Hisstopher Scratchins occasionally adds his voice to the background.]
